The Dodgers and Giants face off in Game 5 of the National League Divisional Series, with both teams having a chance to advance to the next round. Will the Dodgers win?
The dodgers sweep the giants is what to expect when the Dodgers and Giants face off in game 5 of the National League Division Series.
(CBSLA) SAN FRANCISCO – After finishing the regular season with the greatest records in baseball, it’s only right that these two rivals play one more game to determine who will represent the National League in the National League Championship Series.
Los Angeles avoided elimination on Tuesday by defeating San Francisco 7-2 in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series. It was the Dodgers’ sixth straight victory in a playoff game.

In Game 5, the Blue Jays will start left-handed pitcher Julio Uras against right-handed pitcher Logan Webb, who shut out the Dodgers in 7 2/3 innings thrown in Game 1.
In Game 2, Uras helped the Blue Crew tie the series, pitching five innings and surrendering just one earned run.
Uras will ultimately determine if the Dodgers win another World Series. During the regular season, he was 2-1 with a 3.38 ERA and 38 strikeouts in five starts versus the Giants. With the exception of a start against the Giants on May 29th, when Uras gave up seven runs, the NL Cy Young Award contender has pitched well against the team’s archrival.
Uras’ players have a lot of faith in him as he led the league with 20 victories in 2021.

Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers stated, “Julio has this strange, yet ancient spirit about him.” “He simply walks up to the mound and acts as though he’s been there and done that.” He simply exudes such confidence in himself that it rubs off on everyone else. You can see it in his eyes even if he doesn’t say anything.”
Fortunately for the Dodgers, Uras has also pitched in a high-pressure situation.

Webb, on the other hand, is making just his second playoff appearance. However, if the Dodgers want to take advantage of their inexperience, they’ll have to find a way to score with runners on base. Los Angeles went 0-for-5 with RISP in Game 1. The Dodgers went 0-for-4 in Game 3. They were shut out in both games.
On Wednesday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated, “You want your hitters to be aggressive but within their zones.” “Hopefully, when we start growing, since Logan is an east-west person, we’ll extend to the east and west.” We are at our finest when we are able to focus in on our zone.”
When these two teams square off in their third all-time winner-take-all game on Thursday, something will have to give.
