If you’ve been wondering when New World’s major November update will arrive, worry no longer: it arrived this morning. The servers should be back up about noon EST, which is excellent since you’ll probably need all those hours to go through all of these patch notes.
What are some of the highlights? The new Void Gauntlet weapon with its Decay and Annihilation trees, new Varangian enemies in the southeast corner of the map, tweaks to starter zones, the rumored run boost when on roads, all three new PvP faction missions previously teased, improved main storyline quests, a reduction in durability lost during PvP, luck and gathering luck bonus to PvP-flagged toons, a decrease in faction change cooldown, and tons of bug fixes Many of them were teased by Amazon, but others were merely datamined, so take it all as official confirmation, and you won’t have to wait long.
Amazon also announced that monetary gains from expedition bosses would be greatly increased for endgame gamers. Have fun, and try not to be caught up in any new duping schemes!
“Into the Void has passed the Public Test Realm (PTR) and is now available in the main New World game.” The new Void Gauntlet weapon, which allows you to use the energies of the Void to empower your teammates while crippling your opponents, is included in this release. As you discover their actual aims and why they’ve landed in Aeternum, you’ll also be able to face battle against a new (and fearsome) Varangian Knight opponent type. Hundreds of additional updates and bug fixes are included in Into the Void, including quicker road speeds, the ability to connect Trading Posts, and new missions.”
